Rejoice! Distribution of Wealth Coming to USA.
Days ago, Barack Obama told a plumber, in part, the following:
"My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody. If you’ve got a plumbing business, you’re gonna be better off if you’re gonna be better off if you’ve got a whole bunch of customers who can afford to hire you, and right now everybody’s so pinched that business is bad for everybody and I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody."

The plumber's concern is that under O's economic policy, if Congress passes it, his business, which he expects will have revenues of $250,000-280,000, will pay higher income taxes than now. Obama confirmed it.
O's proposed plan, if Congress passes it, will increase the tax for people and businesses with annual revenue greater than $250,000 and give "tax credits" to those with revenue below 250. According to O's plan, 95% will get tax credits. The problem is that 40% of the 95% currently pay no income tax, zero, zip, nada. That means that the 40%, despite the fact that they pay nothing, will get a check from the government. What a deal!

I'll tell you one thing: if O's plan becomes law, I'll do everything possible to never again cross that 250 mark.
I hope folks can get past Obama's charismatic attributes and really think hard about what an Obama Presidency means for our form of government and economic system. The concept of redistributing wealth, in my opinion, does not work and is a recipe for collective failure. Recent examples are: Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba, Nicaragua, USSR, China, North Korea, etc. Once we start going down this road, it will be generations before we find our way out.

Obama's first, second, and third priority is to get elected. If that means pandering to large numbers of unemployed, under employed, those on welfare, illegal aliens, and malcontents, he'll be happy to throw them a few crumbs as a way to get their votes. He will also turn democracy and capitalism on it's head, and villainize the affluent and successful in our society, in order to rally the masses behind him. With evangelical zeal Obama will convince his followers to replace reason with hope and belief ... to blindly follow him ... never challenge him ... and embrace his words as gospel. In the real, and unforgiving world of economics however, when you immediately gratify everyone by feasting on the goose that lays the golden eggs, the economy looses it's ability to continue generating growth and wealth. Obama is promising everyone a piece of the pie, whether they helped bake it, or not ... but, only in a socialistic, or communist state do the non-contributors demand to share equally in the property that belongs to others. Immediate gratification is like a drug to the malcontents, but in the big picture, every farmer knows that you never eat your seed crop. If Obama gets elected, America will turn into a third world country, with massive government welfare programs, unable to generate jobs for it's citizens, and unable to compete in the global markets. Keep America safe, free and strong ... elect McCain/Palin on November 4th.
