Telemundo Reportage about Dr. Joseph Lamelas
This is a reportage broadcast on our local Telemundo station about Dr. Lamelas' minimally invasive procedure. The surgery footage is not my own or the same procedure I had. The similarity, though, is that Dr. Lamelas reaches the area of the heart he needs to repair through a small incision, just like mine.

Las night I saw on Noticias 23 the encouraging story about your operation. The condition you described you had is EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE (except that I have no record of having had rheumatic fever as a child). I have been aware of this problem(and a little nervous about it) for the last 20 years. At this time, I'm just having ecos every year and my insufficiency is described as "moderate", even though the opening in the valve has increased a millimeter or so lately. You story and Dr. Lamelas method really gave me a great confidence boost!
